TUITION & REFUNDS:
EBDC is a "paper-less" studio; Fall & Spring tuition will run online on the 1st of every month with the provided ACH info. IMPORTANT UPDATE: EBDC is now taking ACH as well as credit cards (please note there is 2.49% convince fee for all credit cards that are processed). Tuition must be paid in full by the 1st of every month, if ACH is declined, a $5 fee will be charged; if tuition is not paid in full by the 7th of the month, a $25 late fee will be added and dancer may not be allowed to attend class(s)-no exceptions. Tuition & Payments cannot be broken up into installments. Sibling Discount is only eligible for siblings living at the same address. Families cannot apply sibling discount with cousins, etc. ILLNESS: If dancer is sick or becomes injured, monthly tuition will still be charged and a credit will be waiting for them upon returning back to dance class.
Please Note-Parent MUST email to drop classes, leaving a phone message WILL NOT constitute as an official withdrawal notice. EBDC will not drop a dancer automatically if they have not attended classes nor will EBDC cancel an account over the phone. Right to Cancel: EBDC reserves the right to cancel any class due to lack of enrollment. Alternate classes will be offered to those who signed up for that class. EBDC also has the right to refuse service to anyone.
STUDENT ATTENDANCE:
In order for students to progress in class, regular attendance is extremely important. If a student is going to be absent, please contact EBDC and let us know. Each class is designed to give students a balanced workout. In order to be warmed up and prevent injury, please arrive on time. Tardy students will be asked to warm themselves up before participating in class. If a student is more than 15 minutes late to class, they may be asked to sit out for the entire class. EBDC has the right to automatically drop dancers who have not attended classes for more than 2 months.
MAKE-UP CLASSES:
If a student is absent from class, they are encouraged to take a make up class. They have the option to choose from any of our classes whether it is the same discipline or not. Make up classes must be taken within 2 weeks of absence otherwise it expires- unless pre-arranged through the Office. If a student is absent more then once in the same month, they can only make up one class per calendar month, unless pre-arranged. If a student is absent for more than 3 classes in the same month, and EBDC is not notified in advanced, only one class is offered as make up class. If a dancer misses 6 classes in one calendar year, make up classes are no longer offered. It is the family's responsibility to contact EBDC prior to extended absence. Once a Calendar month as surpassed, EBDC will not go back and give credit or make up classes for the past. After winter vacation, dancers will not be allowed any make-up classes as we will be preparing for our annual recital. Please call the office in advance of any absence and advise the studio which class will be substituted so proper arrangements can be made. Please schedule your make-up 24 hours in advance by email, eastbaydanceco@gmail.com or phone 925-867-3232.
